Where are you from? Where did you study?

I am from a small town in the north west of Italy where best Italian wines are produced but my family transferred to Milano very soon and I have studied there

What are you researching right now?

My main research is focused on brain tumors and on understanding if the radiotherapy schedule for DIPG treatment can be altered with better results

Who is your all-time favorite scientist and why?

Marie Curie, a real woman and full scientist. I very often go to Pantheon in Paris to visit her grave and hope in inspiration

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Swimming, visiting other towns, reading a lot

Why science?

Science gives you the hope to understand your mistakes and not repeat them

Who/What has inspired you to work on DIPG?

Long time seeing always the same outcome and feeling ashamed for this
